This isn't really a Linux question but a Win98 question: How to I set up my
Win98 machine to share its internet connection over a wireless network?
You'd need to ask a Win98 mailing list that question. Are you sure you
wouldn't prefer to do it the other way round?

As far as setting up your airport on the YDL machine - although I've not
setup wireless on YDL I should assume, once you have a signal, that you
simply fill in the details much the same as you would with a normal
ethernet connection:

1) if the server is DHCPing simply set your airport settings to obtain
everything dynamically.

2) if the server isn't DHCPing use the following settings:

IP: Unique IP number to your YDL machine eg. 192.168.1.6
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 (in the case of 192.168.X.X)
Router/Gateway: IP number of your Win98 machine.
DNS: Probably the IP number of your Win98 machine
