Dan,

I guess it makes sense that only the CD used for booting would need to be
HFS. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with the
ISO files just put on the FTP servers. It almost seems like a problem with
the installer scripts or something. I guess time will tell if others have
the same issue.

The only reason I thought it might be a problem is because OS 9 will show
the file .diskinfo as _DISKINFO. instead, and I thought perhaps that might
be due to the disc being in Joliet format. After doing a little
experimenting, it turns out that I was barking up the wrong tree.

If anyone has any ideas on what is causing the error while installing, I'd
appreciate any info. Thanks again!

Hi Dan,

I also am getting errors when tring to locate that .discinfo
directory... Seems as if that file is used by the installer to locate
whatever information that is needed for installation...

Seems you were absolutely correct too! disc one is HFS format and the disc 2
& 3 are ? Format and that file is names _DISKINFO :( so of course is not
find its' proper ".discinfo". Have you over come this for 9 users? Please if
ou have any light to shine on this I would be apprecitive :)
