Further to my earlier post re: Post Install Problems

Regarding the ethernet port, I managed to get it recognised by manually 
entering the IP, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway.Even after getting the eth0 
recognised, I am still unable to connect to the internet. I must be missing 
a setting somewhere, any ideas?
