File sharing with Mac OSX computer and a YDL ibook

-- I have a G4 running OSX 10.2.8. It's connected to a small network
accessed by a Linksys router and having a broadband cable connection. I'd
like to share files with a white, 2001 ibook running YDL 3.1. I opened file
sharing on the G4 and tried to access the files from the ibook. I got
something about Lisa not being configured, but I thought I'd ask people on
the list. I know I'm missing something basic.
