I don't know anything =
about superdrive, but for my powerbook i have done in this way:

mkdir =
/mnt/cdrom

modify /etc/fstab

I inserted this:

/dev/hdc         /=
mnt/cdrom        iso9660   user,noauto,ro  0 0
