Robert, I'm assuming it works under Mac OS.  Am I right?  If I am, my
next question is have you tried gimp-print?

A photographer friend of mine gave me a really nice USB Lexmark that
I hooked up to my Nix box and couldn't get it to work until I used
gimp-print.  Let me know how it turns out.  Good luck!
