iMac and YDL 3.0 ISO Image

Hello -

I have a 333HMz iMac (the 5-color variety) and I partitioned it into 
two partitions.

First, I attempted to boot off the CD but the iMac won't recognize it 
and asks to initialize it when it finally boots into OS 9.

So, I tried to go the BootX route but OS 9 also won't mount the disc 
saying its unreadable.

I know the disc is fine because my G4's running OS X can mount the disc 
just fine.

Is there some issue with these older iMacs?
