application/x-java-vm error

Hi.

When using the Mozilla browser, I'm getting error the error message

  This page contains information of a type (application/x-java-vm)
  that  can only be viewed with the appropriate Plug-in

I downloaded j2re-1.3.1-2b.ppc.rpm from the Sun Microsystems website. 
When I tried to install it with the rpm command, I got the error
message

   conflicts with file from package libgcj-3.2.2-2a

What should I be doing to be able to utilize the Java plug-in?
