gnome panel in kde???

In general I seem to prefer KDE - much more configurable...  however, I really 
miss some of the applets I had in my gnome panel.

Today I saw a redhat machine with the gnome panel in KDE...  I think he was 
running some Ximian product.

Bottom line is I'd like to have the gnome panel in KDE....  is this possible?
