Setup question

I know this must have been asked b4 but that's what being a newbie is 
all about!

I'm trying to install YDL 3.0.1 on my new, well refurbished actually, 
15" 1.25 Powerbook. It installs without a problem until I get to the 
point I need to specify the video board / monitor. All I can get is a 
few lines across the screen and then it hangs after Linux starts up.

I have tries several combos but always the same problem. Anyone know the 
proper choices?

And while I'm asking.....

What are the chances the the Airport Extreme will work?
