It's ALIVE! Ha, ha, ha, ha!
What "it" is:
ydl3.0 on a biege g-3 PowerPC, 4.0gigSCSI HD, 20gigIDE HD, 266MHz, 128Megs
RAM.
What I did:
set a partition in the first 3.2 gigs of the scsi drive and last 5 gigs of
the ide drive and left them unallocated.
the last 750 (or so) megs of the scsi drive I installed MacOS8.0.
took 14 (or so) gigs on the ide and left it as MacOS Standard.
set bootx to find the ramdisk image on disk one of the 3.0 install, followed
the instructions,
AND THE DAMN THING WORKED!
sorry for the exuberance. Peace, Dennis at Edna High School, Edna, TX
