Yes -- go to any page of Yellow Dog Linux's Web site, and at the top of
the page you will see two search boxes. The box on the left searches
YDL's site, while the one on the right searches *all* the mailing lists
(including the Newbies list).

The only problem with that is that the Newbies list has been *very*
spotty in archiving over the last year or so (it is starting to get
better). That is why I recommend you also sign up for the Yellow Dog
General mailing list, which is archived correctly. See below for the
important details.

Also, check out our nascent Yellow Dog Linux FAQ:

I especially invite you to read these links before you do your installation:

<http://www.sharplabs.com:8668/space/Installing+YDL>
<http://www.sharplabs.com:8668/space/Installing+YDL/BootX%2C+Yaboot+and+the+OF>

Good luck!

Best wishes,
Clint

Note: the Yellow Dog Newbie mailing list is not currently being archived
(we don't know why). Therefore, for significant questions whose answers
might help other Yellow Dog Linux users, we recommend you sign up for
the Yellow Dog General list:
