Keyspan USB2 + Firewire Card (PCI)

Thanks David,

I have gone through the /var/log/messages and a /dev/sd is never mentioned.
I think that there is a problem with the PCI card. I Googled it this
afternoon and there evidently has been a problem with combined USB/firewire
cards operating under linux. Doing some random checks through the Linux
1384 hardware compatibility site (7-pages) I haven't been able to find any
combined cards.

I am going to have to rethink my hardware configuration. At the moment, I
don't have another PCI slot available to use separate USB and Firewire
cards. I primarily need the firewire drive for mol because that is where
all of my Mac stuff is.

If anyone knows of a Linux compatible USB/Firewire PCI card please let me
know.

Regards,
Arch
