Just installed YDL on Pegasos-2

Hi all, I just installed The Yellow Dog Linux Board Support Package for the 
Genesi Pegasos-2. Installation went ok, and detected my Radeon 9000 PRO card 
no problem.  I chose a resolution of 800x600 at millions of colours. 
However, when X launches it is totally corrupt. I can see the mouse pointer 
moving around, but it's corrupt and I can't make the screen out to see what 
is going on.  The only thing I can do is reset the computer..but again it 
comes up corrupt as soon as X loads.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
