Headphones & KMix

Hi again,
I'm trying to kill the sound coming out of the speakers on my iMac but
allow the sound to come through the headphone jack.  Searching back
through the terrasoftsolutions lists seems to indicate that if I play
with the settings on KMix I should be able to do this, but I can't
figure it out.  If I turn on the speakers, I get headphone output.  If I
disable the speakers, I disable headphone output.  Is there a
workaround?
