YDL Sound problems

Hey all, 
I am a YDL newbie running 4.0 on a standard imac g3 500. I have been
have constant sound problems with my Harmon Kardon Odyssey sound system.
Firs it works partially and then it doesn't. 

Anyone know of any fixes for this? I am not sure which file it is
configured in (didn't see it in XF86Config) and really wouldn't know
what to put

Any help is much appreciated
