Hi,
We have a Apple Xserve G5 cluster node, with a cd-rom drive, but without
graphic nor keyboard.
I have downloaded the yellow dog 4.0 CD-ROM ISOs and want to install
that distribution on the xserve.
I am able to get at the openfirmware prompt, over the serial port. I
have tried to use the boot command but couldn't find the right
invokation. Using SPARC systems with OBP firmware, I do "boot cdrom" and
that's it. I was hoping to do the same here.

Is it possible to install linux by just using the OpenFirmware console?
If so how can I do it?
Is the YDL 4.0 supposed to work on the xserve G5?

I have found the following links but they don't seem to apply to mycase.

Thanks a lot for the help,
