Where do I enter my Internet Provider Service access number?

Greetings:
	I have the standard YDL 4.0.1 desktop layout.   I can't find where I 
can configure my modem; outside of toying with some scripts at the back 
end.   Isn't there a simple GUI to configure the modem so I can access 
the Internet?
