Installation agony

Alright, I'm a little confused here.  But i'll give this a shot.
If you're having this display error during installation you need to use 
the text installation.  After you've finished the installation, you're 
going to have to boot in text mode, and then find the file, because it's 
installed with YDL, and I don't believe it's in OS X, unless you're 
running X11.  Are setting up a dual boot or just planning on running YDL?
