Did you first create a partition for YDL to install Linux into?
Before that, did you back-up the Mac OS X side of the hard drive?
Remember that the partition for Linux you are supposed to create comes
from or is taken from the partition which was formally dedicated to Mac
OS X; the only exception to this is that you are using a completely new
second drive. However, even that needs to be prepared for Linux.
If you don't know what this is or the statements I've made seem
nonsense to you; you should review the material on the Terra Soft
website or get the book on YDL.
OF COURSE, this doesn't mean that the YDL install disk isn't bad or
other issues are involved, but it is usually a good idea to consider
the most basic challenges first and get those right.
