USB 802.11b Adaptor?

I tried that yesterday without success.  This may be for the
same reason that "yum install {foo}" didn't work to install
packages.  I could browse the Web (via the wired Ethernet
port), so I'm not sure why it's not working.

Is DHCP compulsory?  I prefer static IP addresses.
