Thanks, Derick. I really appreciate the link.

I may have to reinstall 3.0.1 (I am using the hung install - MOL won't
work, PPP won't work, monitor won't use 800x600 - I'll post with my
problems after reinstall), will try to back up /home, and then will see
about installing 4.0.1.
