I just installed YDL on my PS3.  I am trying to use SSH so I can connect from my lap top to my PS3 I tried these directions on how to openssh-server. But I have no clue where to  type these commands  Do I use Gnome? If so how? Thanks for helping a newbie out..

Either insert the YDL Install CD and as root: 


  mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom [ENTER]
  rpm -Uvh openssh-server* [ENTER] 
... or, using apt-get: 
  apt-get install openssh-serv [ENTER]
