Revert back to PS3

Hey everyone... I'm a complete noob and am in over my head.  I  
installed the loader onto my ps3 and changed the settings so that it  
automatically loads the linux prompt, but can't get a copy of an  
older installer to work.  So now I'm stuck at the prompt and can't  
use my ps3.  I'll eventually get back to installing 5.0, but until  
then how do I get my ps3 working again?  Thanks for all your time
