I've installed OS 9.2, OS 10.3 and YDL 4.1 on a B&W 300MHz G3 that has
one IDE hard drive connected to the on-board IDE controller, and a
second IDE drive connected to an ACARD AEC-6280M PCI IDE controller.
Both Mac OS's are able to access both hard drives, but YDL 4.1 cannot
find the second IDE drive.

The Apple System Profiler describes the interface card as
"ACARD,6280M, rev. 7, vendor ID 1191" and the drive shows up as a SCSI
drive.

The KInfoCenter in YDL, under PCI, sees the card as
01:04.0 SCSI storage controller
Artop Electronic Corp. ATP865 (rev.7)

Under SCSI, KInfoCenter does not see any attached devices.

parted and fdisk find /dev/hda, but not /dev/hdb nor /dev/sda.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
John P.
