  No, but you are limited to a horrendously small screen size.  Alternatively, you can use remote tools like X to log in from another computer at any resolution you wish.  Or, if you're a real UNIX junky, ssh works fine, too :)

And if not will a normal TV with the component video cables do the job?
  I have heard that component video will get you decent resolutions.
