YDL 5 - Configuring Airport - how to connect to the wireless LAN

Hi,

  I think that I succeeded in getting the firmware
  for the Airport card in my Mac Mini installed.
  Used the fwcutter on the input I obtained and
  copied that to /lib/firmware.

  Then I could activate the Airport at eth1

  But still no connection to my wireless LAN and
  the world. Now where can I specify the name of
  that LAN and the password that is needed to
  connect? I search in the Network Configuration
  panels but can't find where I can enter this.
  Maybe I need to use another method?

  As always any help will be appreciated and when
  I succeed I will document the method I used.

  - do the 4.1 instructions from the YDL support
    pages still apply?

  - as most recent Macs are equiped with Airport
    Extreme - has anyone succeeded in this 
    configuration?

  - and when will there be standard support in 
    the kernel?
