Okay, so I found the screensaver options under Configure > Configuration
Panel > Screen Lock (not immediately obvious) and the system seems to
suspend after the interval I specify ... at least the screen goes black,
which I'm very happy with. After reading the lists re: controlling
brightness, I don't think I'll bother trying. Apart from that, I'm
loving Yellow Dog.
