Starting YDL

Ok, so i'm at runlevel 3 but how do i change it to run level 5?

If you log into the console you are in runlevel 3. Use runlevel 5 to get
gdm and X started automatically. If you are in runlevel 3 you login on
the console and if you start X there is no need for gdm to authenticate you.

Please post the output of ifconfig -all and check if your router
assignes an ip to your PS3 at start up. And btw, use a subject in your
future messages.
