Try youtube-dl http://www.arrakis.es/~rggi3/youtube-dl/

That's a python script that'll take a Youtube URL and get the
actual flv video that you can most certainly play under Linux.
Since it works on a PS2 Linux kit, it most certainly should work
on a PS3 running a more modern distro.
