APPLE COMPUTER LINUX TECHNOLOGY MANAGER JOINS TERRA SOFT

Loveland, CO -- 23 January 2001 -- Terra Soft Solutions, Inc., the leading
developer of Linux solutions for PowerPC(tm) microprocessors, is pleased to
announce that Kevyn Shortell, former Linux Technology Manager for Apple
Computer, has joined the Terra Soft team.

In 1999, Apple Computer created the Linux Technology Manager position for
the purpose of maintaining Linux developer relations and support. Shortell
transferred from Apple's Developer Technical Support Group, bringing with
him four years experience with Apple Computer.

"We have known and worked with Kevyn for nearly two years. His love for
research and dedication to quality are well matched with Terra Soft's
ongoing development. Kevyn offers a diverse set of skills ranging from
network and hardware engineering to developer relations, from systems
administration to team leadership," states Kai Staats, CEO Terra Soft
Solutions.

As Linux Technology Manager, Shortell was Apple's liaison to PowerPC Linux
developers worldwide. This involvement in the Linux community and
experience with Apple hardware complements Terra Soft's solutions.

Dan Burcaw, CTO adds, "We're just thrilled to have him on-board ... he is
motivating, humorous, and a natural leader--a welcomed addition to our
development team."

Bringing to Terra Soft his arsenal of Nerf weapons, Shortell will initially
be working to help wrap-up development of the Yellow Dog Linux 2.0 release.
In subsequent months, he will work with Terra Soft developers to improve
hardware support, oversee Terra Soft's new test lab, and help build
industry relations.

"I have watched [Terra Soft] evolve into a well-respected player in the
PowerPC Linux community. I am excited to come onboard at this stage of
their growth and play a role in Terra Soft's transformation into a complete
PowerPC solutions provider."
