YDL 2.1 & VIDEO RENDERING BRIQ CLUSTER AT LINUXWORLD, TOKYO

As a guest of Japanese reseller Amulet, booth #119, Terra Soft is pleased to showcase the recently released Yellow Dog Linux 2.1 and a Yellow briQ Node cluster running Total Impact's Centricity video rendering software at LinuxWorld Expo, Tokyo, Japan.

Yellow Dog Linux and Centricity provide a seamless, tightly integrated Mac OS-to-Linux graphical interface for automated video rendering through the use of the Renderman (www.renderman.org) image standard. The Centricity system also provides automated self-maintaining nodes and a virtually hands-free Linux back-end with graphical connection to Mac OS, Windows, and NT.

Amulet is working with Terra Soft to deliver to the Japanese market video rendering and high performance computing solutions built upon the briQ, Yellow Dog Linux, and Black Lab Linux. Amulet and Terra Soft will showcase a 4-node briQ cluster and a single, open briQ for hands-on learning.

Kai Staats, co-founder and CEO of Terra Soft Solutions, will be attending the first day of the show, Wednesday the 24th of October and presenting the same evening at 5:00 pm (17:00) concerning the briQ solution, room B6.
