Dear Associates of Yellow Dog Linux,

Terra Soft Solutions, Inc., developers of Yellow Dog Linux, are working
with Absoft, makers of the #1 commercial x86 Linux Fortran compiler, to
help determine the potential market for Fortran tools on the PowerPC Linux
platform. If there is sufficient interest, Absoft will port a version of
its Pro Fortran for Intel Linux (http://www.absoft.com/pro.linux.html) to
PowerPC Linux.

The proposed product would include a suite of native F90/F77 compilers,
graphical debugger, VAX/Unix compatibility libraries, BLAS, LAPACK90, HDF
libraries, with IMSL Math and Stat libraries optional. Full source
compatibility with Absoft versions for Macintosh, Win32 and Intel Linux.
Argonne Labs maintains Absoft/MPICH libraries for those interested in
Beowulf. Details are available online at: http://www.absoft.com/.

If interested or have questions, please contact Wood Lotz
mailto:wlz@absoft.com at Absoft.

Sincerely,
Dan Burcaw, CTO
