I put together a set of gnome 1.4 rpms for the ydl2beta.

A few notes:
ydl2beta could be a bit gnome-friendlier, i had problems building several
things with ximian specs because they required libgnomeprint11. The beta
gnome-print package has the required lib but should add a
Provides: libgnomeprint11
People are going to try building ximian crap so this is the best thing
imho. I edited the Requires: line out of my specs since I was making gnome
for ydl and not ydl for gnome.
gal is another tricky one. Your gal puts libgal.so.3 in the main gal-4.x
package. Ximian and RH wolverine put this in a seperate package called
libgal3. I had to rebuild the wolvy gal-4 srpm to make this so I could
upgrade to gal-5 to build some stuff. gal-5 creates a libgal4 also. This
makes the upgrade path easier and ensures proper bincompat.
