Subject: CS 1.2.1 DHCP problems

I installed CS 1.2.1 clean and for some reason linuxconf won't finish
making accounts for me, get dhcp info, or anything of the sort. I
had 1.2 running for a while and it worked fine, then i reinstalled it
and root couldn't connect to localhost in windowmaker and kde. I'm
running a g3 yosemite 450, 16 gig ide, 256 ram. anyone else have any
troubles like this or any solutions for that matter?
