Xamian Gnome for 2.1?

I tried to install Xamian Gnome under YDL 2.1 but the installer doesn't seem to be recgonizing my system. I would think 2.1 is close enough to 2.0 to allow it to work, anyone have suggestions on how to trick the installer or should I wait for a 2.1 specific update (any plans on this in the works)?
