Subject: Loss of Date and Time?

Apologies if this has been covered before ... but I have an iMac 350 with an
installation of YDL (ver 2.0). I am very happy with this so far and find
that I am doing proportionally less with MacOS as my knowledge of YDL
improves.
One little wrinkle still manages to annoy ... the machine loses time and date
sometimes on startup. Last night I was told that my date was 1904 ... but
the time seemed correct. I can reset the system as 'root' by using the date
command ... but it is annoying...
Any ideas...
Richard
