Subject: PPPoE: Connected but Timing Out

Hi all-
Just recently got YDL 2.0 up and running on my G4 without a hitch. I
installed the Roaring Penguin PPPoE package, and used "adsl-setup" to
configure my connection. Lo and behold, it connected on the first
try! (I'm a Pac Bell [SBC] DSL customer, who usually uses EnterNet on
my Mac). "adsl-status" returns:
adsl-status: Link is up and running on interface ppp0
ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
inet addr:63.202.174.93 P-t-P:63.202.175.254 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1492 Metric:1
RX packets:11 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:11 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
However, I'm unable to connect to any outside servers. Pinging
external hostnames and IP addresses returns "Destination Host
Unreachable". I imagine this is probably a DNS issue... I've got the
following in my "resolv.conf", matching the DNS servers I've always
used with Pac Bell:
nameserver 206.13.28.12
nameserver 206.13.31.12
search localdomain
I tried changing the last line to "search pacbell.net" to no avail as
well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Darren David
