Re: Messed up dual boot on PismoI got it going.
The correct command in OF is:
setenv boot-device hd:11,\\:tbxi
This will let you dual boot MacOS or YDL
Best regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Have you tried:
setenv boot-device hd:XX,ofboot,b
reset-all
??? (where XX is your boot partition)
I tried this and it did not work for me, but as far as I can recall, that is the best advice given on this list for this problem.
I'm stuck booting from OF using "boot hd:11,\\yaboot"
I've looked at various files in /boot and /etc but the problem must be somewhere in Open Firmware.
cheers,
perry
Hi all,
I messed up my dual boot by playing around with RAM disk settings etc. What do I need to change in Open Firmware to get that working again? (I'm pretty sure, it's just the OF setting, the partition and all the data, as well as the set-up info in the Linux partition are all still there.
Best regards,
Chris
