I'm stuck.
I've partioned my 27G hard drive like this.
3GB = Mac HD (shows up as HFS partition 8 on pdisk) - hda8
18GB = Mac HD 2 (shows up as HFS partion 9 on pdisk) - hda9
3GB = unassigned (did this via Mac OS Disk Drive Setup) - Parition hda10
Now, I've loaded my YDL 1.2 from CD on to the 3GB partition.
I've broken it up into three parts.
1.7GB = root (partition 10) - hda10
127MB = swap (hda11)
880MB = /home (hda12)
The install goes great. After rebooting into Mac OS I put the following files
into my System
Folder on my Mac OS drive (hda8).
yaboot.tbxi
vmlinux
yaboot.conf
----here's my conf file----
timeout = 50
default = linux
image = hd:8,\vmlinux
label = linux
root = /dev/hda10
novideo
---conf end----
I reboot my Mac. I hold down <alt> <command> <o> and <f>.
I come up to the Firmware screen (white).
I type the following:
> boot hd:8,\yaboot.tbxi
It wont boot. Something about it "can't find yaboot.tbxi."
Sincerely, R. David Salinas
