why wouldnt a modem script work as expected?
i am attempting to write a modem chat script and ppp-on script to control my
modem without using minicom.
(i found the scripts in Oreilly's Running Linux manual- they seem correct to
me)
the problem is that they arent working. on execution, on the TR light
blinks once, then nothing else. the modem works using minicom, though.
where should i be looking to troubleshoot this?
