Just tried to install YDL-2.0 on my PBG4. Went smoothly, I used the custom
install option (I like to see my mount points!). After the installation I
rebooted back into linux and edited /etc/yaboot.conf to add the partition
number for macos. The generic macos=/dev/hda or macos=/dev/sda has caused
me trouble on two machines now, when I add the partition number for the mac
side (e.g. macos=/dev/hda9) then those problems go away (I have MacOS X
before linux, by the way.) Then I used Xautoconfig4 to set up X, as
recommended on this list.

However, when I now boot into 9.1 my display shows vertical "zebra-stripes"
immediately after booting (probably 10 pixels wide), followed by the small
mac logo in inverted colors. Then at the larger "MacOS 9.1" screen colors
are back to non-inverted and all is well.

Q1: Does anyone else get these zebra stripes?
Q2: Any way to get rid of them?
Q3: Why are they there?

Thanks,
Soren
