I can't make this machine take a boot thru the hard disk.
Data:
^^^^^
YellowDog Version: Champion-1.2
Kernel Version: 2.2.15-2.9.0
My partition table:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
[root@nie#] fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 64 heads, 32 sectors, 8678 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2048 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 16 16368 41 PPC PReP Boot
/dev/sda2 17 517 513024 83 Linux
/dev/sda3 518 646 132096 82 Linux swap
/dev/sda4 647 8678 8224768 5 Extended
/dev/sda5 647 2695 2098160 83 Linux
/dev/sda6 2696 2846 154608 83 Linux
/dev/sda7 2847 4895 2098160 83 Linux
/dev/sda8 4896 8678 3873776 83 Linux
(You see the partition /dev/sda1 - is bootable and PPC PReP Boot)
When i run the quik, is showed this:
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
[root@nie#] quik
Quik does not need to be run on CHRP machines.
But, my quik version is 2.0.0d (the YDL Champion-1.2 version)
I've tried run the "installquik" and "dd if=/boot/second of=/dev/sda1",
but i do not have anything at all that i want.
Anybody could help me? Am i doing anything wrong?
Thanks,
