I take it all back. It has stopped working again -- same error. Here's
what I've done since it last worked:

  * Try to get AirPort working.
  * Installed Mac OS X.

I'm very frustrated about this. I've deleted
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-airport, but I still get

       eth0 WARNING ! Can't find PHY
