In solving some printing problems, I had occasion to switch from
Gnome to KDE. Now I can't switch back.
From the command line switchdesk gnome says "you now have Gnome." But I don't
From an x term window or the KDE menupanel, I can get a "desk
switcher tool." Selecting Gnome has no effect!
deleting ~/.Xclients didn't even work.
Help, I'm stuck on the MTA! Wouldn't mind so much but on this Pismo
and Kernel 2.4.8, I have a terrible noise on startup of X.
Best, Ted
