The kernel module must be compiled with the 2.4 headers
(the path in Rules.make is used). Which headers are
used for the mol binary is not important (although
some fixes are apparently needed in order to use
the 2.4 headers).

It should be safe to use headers from almost any 2.2 version
together with a 2.2 kernel. If there is a version mismatch,
the -f flag of insmod can be used (starmol does this for you).
Of course, it is always best to use the "right" headers.
