I get the *exact response* using a 603ev (Umax 600).

I even went back, using the 2.2.15preXX patch on the the 2.2.12 source,
using the mol-0.9.40 and found the similar response after recompiling the
kernel.

Since I have an L2 G3 upgrade card that apparently doesn't get activated
when linuxppc is booted, I've backed off from more investigation.
