1) Copy /usr/bin/startmol to /usr/bin/mol_atboot
2) Remove/comment line 156 of /usr/bin/mol_atboot: $MOL_LIB_DIR/bin/mol $*
3) Add /usr/bin/mol_atboot to the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local

That'll perform the kernel patching / module installing at boot time, so
normal users will be able to simply "startmol".
