ATAPI error on startup

I've been using MOL-0.9.24-1 on my Pismo w/128MB ram (giving 64 to
MOL) for a few weeks. Today I upgraded to 384MB and installed an
AirPort card. I upped MOL's memory to 128, an started it up. I get
the following error message, but was still able to boot and use MOL.
        hde:packet command error: status=0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
        hed:packet command error: error=0x54

        ATAPI device hde:
Error: Illegal request -- (Sense key=0x05)
Invalid field in command packet - (asc=0x24,asq=0x00)
The failed "Start Stop Unit" packet command was:
                        "1b 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00"

Once booted, networking wasn't working (happens once in a while), so
I shut down MOL and then restarted it. When I did, MOL autoswitched
to VT 9, but then nothing happened. This let me copy the error
message above. However, on switching back to the X VT, I found that
MOL was displaying there! I was able to use the mouse to shutdown
cleanly, but every attempt to restart MOL resulted in the same
problem. Rebooting Linux allowed me to use MOL on VT 9 again.

Since everything works after a Linux reboot, this is more a FYI
message than a plea for help.
