Just getting started with LinuxPPC

Have kernel 2.2.15pre14 loaded. Used the ROM grabber to
take the ROM-image file from my MacOS 8.1 system and moved this
to rom/rom.8500. Problem with nvram/nvram.8500.image as there
is no such file. Did not find where to obtain this in any docs.

MOL window opens with a flash and then a black screen. Suspect
it is something I've overlooked due to ignorance. Any help/
suggestions are appreciated.
